Thank you for taking our brief confidential survey, designed to assess your interest in moving to "Campus Continuum at Juniata College" – a community of active, mature life-long learners in the scenic Allegheny Mountains of Central Pennsylvania.
Based on the outcome of this survey, Juniata College and Campus Continuum will assess the feasibility of bringing this unique project to fruition with the amenities you prefer most. Your participation assures that you'll receive updates as development plans unfold so that you won't miss out on getting your preferred home. Of course, no obligation is implied on your part. Your name will not be sold to other organizations.
What we are proposing
"Campus Continuum at Juniata College" is designed to offer
a new and stimulating phase of life. Residents will have access to the
programs and facilities of the College, as well as seminars and other
programs they organize themselves. They will be encouraged to engage
in volunteer opportunities both on and off campus. Depending on their
interests and backgrounds, some may advise student clubs and organizations,
act as tutors, mentors, or career advisors, and be an enthusiastic audience
for music, theater and sports events.
A Dean of Programs will coordinate relations between the College and residents, develop additional seminars and special programs, assist in matching people with courses and special interests, and coordinate social, travel and educational opportunities.
The proposed community, less than two miles via a walkable path from our main campus, can offer a variety of attractive residential options with condominium or co-op ownership. It can offer active adults with shared interests a new sense of adventure and fun – with expanded lifestyle offerings, gracious living units, a club house, and the opportunity to make many interesting new friends.
